Kristin Nicklas

BIO

A Franklin County native, Attorney Nicklas is devoted to servicing the legal needs of her community. Attorney Nicklas began her legal career as a law clerk for former President Judge Douglas W. Herman, gaining invaluable experience and guidance regarding both civil and criminal matters. Attorney Nicklas worked as a solo practitioner before forming Nicklas & Snyder in 2022.

 

Prior to entering law school Attorney Nicklas was a staff accountant for a regional accounting firm. Attorney Nicklas possesses a unique skillset with both her accounting and legal education and experience. This unique skillset allows her to assist her clients more effectively and efficiently with financial and legal issues such as Real Estate Law, Settlements &Title Insurance, Wills, Trusts & Estate Planning and Estate Administration & Probate. Attorney Nicklas is a licensed title agent and regularly assists clients with real estate transactions and settlements.

 

Formerly the Support Master for Franklin County, Attorney Nicklas presided over child and spousal support appeals.  Attorney Nicklas has been recognized by the Franklin County Bar Association for her dedication to pro bono legal services in Franklin County.

 

Attorney Nicklas resides in Chambersburg with her husband, John, and their four children.

HANNAH HERMAN-SNYDER

ATTORNEY

BIO

Attorney Herman-Snyder is a skilled litigator with decades of experience in family law, custody, divorce, adoption, support and alimony. Attorney Herman-Snyder is also experienced in guardianship of the elderly and other individual who require the appointment of a guardian. Practicing since 2003 in South Central Pennsylvania, Attorney Herman-Snyder is able to offer her clients her knowledge not only of the substantive law in these areas, but her knowledge and familiarity with the Court systems and local practices.

 

Attorney Herman-Snyder also provides assistance to clients in preparing wills and power of attorney documents and practices in the area of bankruptcy.

 

Attorney Herman- Snyder resides in Carlisle with her husband, Steve, and their four children.

Amy Owen

ATTORNEY

BIO

Attorney Owen focuses on family and civil law where she is experienced in counseling clients in a variety of civil and family law matters including divorce, support, custody and general litigation. She also represents individuals and business entities in contract negotiations, civil litigation and employment matters. Attorney Owen has handled cases from inception through appeal and has achieved positive outcomes for her clients in Pennsylvania trial courts, intermediate appellate courts and the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. 

 

Attorney Owen was recognized in 2019, 2020 and 2021 as a Rising Star in family law in the Pennsylvania edition of Super Lawyers. Pennsylvania Super Lawyers selects outstanding attorneys who have been identified as having attained a high level of peer recognition and professional achievement.

 

Before entering private practice, Attorney Owen clerked for the Honorable James P. Cullen of the Lancaster County Court of Common Pleas where she gained experience in a wide array of civil and criminal cases and drafted judicial opinions for the litigants and appellate courts.
